Environmental HabitatThe Rainbow Lorikeet is found in a widespread of places around Australia, mainly being found near Northern and Eastern Australia and also around Perth. It resides in environments such as rainforests, woodland or forests that are either coastal or inland. The typical environmental temperature that a rainbow lorikeet resides in usually varies between 20°C to 34°C, with temperatures rarely increasing or decreasing than the stated range. Rainfall in a rainforest is usually no less than 168cm annually and also can exceed 1,000cm, although yearly rainfall lies between 175cm and 200cm. Abiotic factors such as water, a warm climate and sunlight are all factors that rainbow lorikeets rely on for survival. Without the necessary survival supply, such as water in their habitats, lorikeets would not be able to survive and without a warm climate and sunlight, it would be hard for plants to photosynthesis, therefore depriving lorikeets of food sources resulting in starvation or even death.
